On the northern end of Anna Maria Island near the Rod & Reel Pier, Anna Maria Bay Front Park features a spectacular beachside view of both Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. According to the locals, this is the best beach in the area for finding Sand Dollars and Scalloped Cockleshells. Sunbathers can enjoy a view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on a soft white sandy beach, with trees located just a few steps inland for shade. Bradenton Beach- Coquina Beach
On Anna Maria’s southern tip, Coquina Beach is one of the largest and most popular Public Beaches in the area. Towering Australian Pines. Families enjoy Coquina; which has a full service concession stand, ample free parking, public restrooms and showers. Amenities include: Picnic tables spanning the entire park, barbeque grills, and a playground. A bayside boat launch is across the street from the Beach.

The main Public Beach-
Manatee Beach is the main public beach on the Island, centrally located at Manatee Avenue and Gulf Drive, is a wide soft white sandy beach. A Beach Shop for anything you might need from lotion, chairs, towels, and even a few souvenirs. There is a restaurant, and an outdoor café, free parking, restrooms, showers, a picnic area, playground, a volleyball area and a fishing pier. This is a favorite beach of many, so get there early on the weekend and enjoy what the locals enjoy year-round.
