  1. How do I get to Anna Maria Island and where is your office?

Anna Maria Island is a barrier island about 7 miles long, located north of Sarasota/Long Boat Key and west of Bradenton, Fl., at the southwest tip of Tampa Bay. The Gulf of Mexico is to the west and Tampa Bay to the East.

Our office is located at 5319 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach, Florida, 34217. Once you arrive on the Island, travel north on Gulf Drive past the Manatee County Public Beach. When you reach the Fusion Fitness/ Wachovia Plaza (before the traffic light at Marina Drive). Turn right into the plaza and we are 100 yards ahead on the right facing the Gulf.

 

  1. What are Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals Office hours?

We are open Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm EST; Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm; closed Sunday.

 

  1. When can I check in and how do I get my keys?

Check in time is 3:00pm. Come to the office of Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals to pick up your keys. In order to fulfill the security deposit requirement, all guests are required to provide photo ID plus a visa or master card of the person named on the contract. If you arrive at a time our office is closed, the keys will be in an envelope with your name on the front & the envelope will be put in an unlocked key box located to the right of the door. Stop by the office the following morning with your ID & credit card information. For security purposes, we do not include the property address in the arrival envelopes, so bring your contract with you, which contains the property address and phone number of your rental.

 

4.       When do I have to check out and where do I return the keys?

Check out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on scheduled day of departure. Keys must be returned to Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals in order to avoid additional key charges made against your security deposit.

 

  1. What items are provided in my accommodation?

All accommodations are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, cable television, fully equipped kitchens with pots, pans, dinnerware plus microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, Cable television, DVD Player & telephone with free local calls. Most accommodations have a washer/dryer available. Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals provides the initial supply of bath soap and toilet paper. The guest is responsible for any additional items during the stay. Items such as paper towels, laundry soap and cleaning supplies are the responsibility of the guest. Some properties are equipped with a VCR, Bar-B-Q and beach chairs. You are welcome to use these items if they are provided; however, we are unable to guarantee them.

 

6.       Can someone other than the person on the contract pick up my keys?

If you would like a friend or relative to pick up keys for you, the person named on the rental contract must call Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals prior to check in and make special arrangements. The person picking up the keys will be required to provide a photo ID and a visa or master card for imprint.

 

7.       What if I have an After Hours Emergency or need assistance with a late arrival?

Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals offers 24-hour emergency phone service. Call the office at 941-778-3699 and the voice mail service will put you in touch with a rental agent. The agent will be happy to assist you.

 

8.       How do I make long distance phone calls?

Long distance calls can be made from the accommodation by using one of the following procedures:

1) Charge the long distance call to guests home phone number 2) Use a prepaid calling card

3) Call AT&T at 1-800- C A L L A T T and charge to major credit card. Each arrival envelope will include instructions for making long distance calls from the reserved accommodation.

 

9.       Does Anna Maria Island have rentals for baby items, bicycles, etc.?

YES. Look under Guest Services for phone numbers, email addresses and locations of local proprietors.

 

10.   Private homes with pools

Private homes with pools have weekly maintenance carried out by a qualified and licensed pool company. Due to the tropical nature of our Island it is not unusual to find unexpected debris in the pool falling from trees & surrounding vegetation, especially when there is a breeze or rain showers. If you wish to arrange for additional pool service, this can be scheduled with the pool company for a $30 cash payment due from guest at time additional pool service is completed. 80 is the highest heat temperature setting. During the winter months pool temperatures will probably stay around 75.If several cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold (below 60). There will be days when the weather conditions will not allow pool heaters to accommodate swimming and temperature recovery times will vary.While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool and spa. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs. Spa temperatures are set at the same temperature as the pool. AMGCR is not responsible for pool/spa closures or malfunctions. No credit, discount and/or rate adjustments can be granted for circumstances beyond our control.

 

11.   What is there to do on Anna Maria Island?

Anna Maria Island has bike paths, sandy beaches, fishing piers, local Island shops and casual dining to 5 star restaurants. Anna Maria Island is also close to St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, St. Pete and Tampa. Please click on Guest Services for additional information on the Island and surrounding areas.
